We raise toy Australian shepherd puppies in Massachusetts, and every one of ours grows up with a full, natural tail. Our breeding dogs are health tested, our puppies are raised in our home, and they’re socialized from the first week on. We breed about once a year, so litters are small and planned well ahead. Here’s where things stand right now:

Every breeding dog here is health tested through OFA, with results published in the public database so you can look them up yourself. We never dock, so all our puppies keep their natural tails. They’re raised in our home and go through a structured socialization plan over their first eight weeks, which means they’re ready for real life before they leave. We also compete with our dogs in agility and scent work, and we breed for temperaments that are fun to live with.

Our toy Australian shepherds come in four colors: blue merle, red merle, black tri, and red tri. What may show up in any given litter depends on the pairing. If you have a preference, note it on your application and we’ll tell you what we expect from upcoming litters.

Every puppy that leaves here has been health-tested, home-raised, and given a structured start from day one. Here’s what that actually looks like:

Before any dog is bred, they complete a full DNA panel and OFA physical evaluations — hips, eyes, elbows. Results are posted publicly on each dog’s profile. You don’t have to take our word for it.

Our puppies grow up in the middle of daily life — kids, cats, noise, chaos, all of it. By the time they reach you, the world isn’t a scary place. It’s just familiar.

We follow a structured, science-based socialization protocol from birth through week eight — early neurological stimulation, scent introduction, crate training, leash work, car rides, and extensive exposure to people, sounds, and new environments. They don’t just go home healthy — they go home ready.

We’ve never docked a tail, and we never will. If a natural tail matters to you, you’ve found your breeder.

1. Submit an application. Tell us about yourself, your home, and what you’re looking for. We read every one.

2. We’ll be in touch. If it seems like a good fit, we’ll reach out to talk through the details — no pressure, just a conversation.

3. Deposit holds your spot — but only once a litter is born. We don’t take deposits on unplanned litters. Once puppies arrive and we confirm the litter is healthy, a $500 non-refundable deposit secures your place.

4. Updates along the way. We send regular photos and videos from birth through pickup. You’ll watch your puppy grow up.

5. Pickup at eight weeks. Puppies go home at exactly eight weeks — not earlier. The science on this is clear, and we take it seriously.

Our puppies are $3,000–$3,500 depending on the litter. This covers health testing, registration, age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, and the socialization work that goes into every litter.

Blue merle, red merle, black tri, and red tri. What we get depends on the pairing, and the luck of the draw.

We’re in Massachusetts and place puppies across New England and beyond. For families outside driving distance, we can meet you at Boston Logan airport or connect you with a trusted pet nanny service, who will fly your puppy in the cabin to your local airport (this will incur an additional fee, paid directly to the flight nanny).

How does the waitlist work?

Use the sign-up form at the top of this page to get notified when a litter is planned. It’s free, there’s no obligation, and it’s the best way to make sure you don’t miss a litter announcement.

Not until a litter is born and healthy. We won’t ask you to put money down on a litter that doesn’t exist yet. Once puppies arrive, we’ll reach out to confirmed families to collect deposits and move forward.

Yes. We can coordinate nanny shipping — a professional pet transport courier who travels with your puppy in the cabin directly to your nearest airport. This will incur an additional fee, paid directly to the flight nanny. We’re happy to discuss this option once we’re matched.

We’d love to meet you. Applications take about five minutes and help us make sure every puppy lands in the right home.
